At the 2023 Guangzhou International Auto Show,CheryFengyun A9Officially unveiled on display. The new car will adopt a 5-vertical and 3-horizontal integrated smart cockpit, zero-gravity seats, AI full-scene companionship, electromagnetic suspension, L3 + level auxiliary driving and other configurations, and will also use Chery’s next-generation Kunpeng super-performance electric hybrid C-DM system. In addition, the current exhibition car is not in mass production, and the details may be adjusted and changed in the later listing.

In terms of power system, the new car will use Chery’s next-generation Kunpeng ultra-performance electric hybrid C-DM system, and the power parameters refer to Chery Fengyun A8 (1.5T engine maximum power 115KW, motor maximum power 150KW).

In the exterior design part, the new car adopts a closed shape design, and is also equipped with a through-type headlight group (the trim panel below the light group is embellished with a "star array" middle net, which is expected to support reflective function). In addition, the front surrounding bottom is also equipped with a curved blackened air intake + through-type chrome decoration to enhance the layered + dynamic properties of the front face.

Coming to the side of the car body, the side shape of the new car is slender and stretched (the official revealed that the length of the new car is nearly 5 meters, the wheelbase is nearly 3 meters), and the body also uses an up-and-down through double waist line + chrome-plated parts, and the roof is similar to the slippery back shape, making the whole car have better fashionable and dynamic attributes.

In addition, the new car will also offer concealed door handles, four-door frameless doors, and 19-inch/20-inch wheels.

At the rear of the car, a through-type taillight set is used at the rear of the new car, and a high-level brake light is also added above the rear windshield. In addition, the bottom of the rear enclosure is also equipped with a large area of silver-white glossy + blackened decoration, which effectively enhances the layering of the rear of the car.

In the interior design part, the center console of the new car is equipped with a dual-width flat-bottomed steering wheel, AR-HUD head-up display, a long independent LCD instrument panel, and a large-size floating center control screen. In the power unit part, the new car will be equipped with Chery’s next-generation Kunpeng ultra-performance electric hybrid C-DM system (1.5T plug-in hybrid system), with an acceleration of 5 seconds, a pure electric cruising range of up to 200 kilometers, and a comprehensive cruising range of over 1400 kilometers.

As a reference, the Chery Fengyun A8 also uses this power system (1.5T plug-in hybrid system), of which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 115KW and a peak torque of 220N · m; the motor has a maximum power of 150KW and a maximum torque of 310N · m.
